Second time making these (enjoyed them even more this time 'round). Used ground chicken since its what I had in stock. Flavour was anything but boring. Hint of spiciness, but not overwhelming; However I recommend eliminating the cayenne/chili flakes if you don't like heat.
[I premade these the night before & par cooked them for lunch; I work in a restaurant so I finished it on the flat top].
I highly recommend putting yum yum pickles on as a topping, the flavours really balance well together, in my opinion.
I also think these would be kid friendly if the spiciness is reduced/eliminated, & ginger reduced a bit; All depends on your kids' taste/food preference.
