This would be a fantastic brunch dish. It's slightly decadent and rich, but the acidity of fresh fruit helps to cut through and balance the heaviness of this dish. Aside from maybe something savory on the side, this dish doesn't need much else.
Just some preferential changes made.
I subbed half&half for milk and added some vanilla and almond extract.
In lieu of vanilla pudding, I mixed up a box of JELLO Cheesecake instant pudding the night before so it could set up and thicken.
