Don't waste your ingredients with this one. The recipe isn't detailed enough to follow properly. It doesn't tell you if it's supposed to be boiled covered, or uncovered, and when boiled uncovered, I lost over half the 5 cups of stock leaving enough finished broth, for only one person.
The recipe also calls for 2 baby Bock choy, but doesn't specify if both are supposed to go in the broth, as it says to add bok choy to the water and boil for 35 mins, then in a later step, it says something about blanching the bok choy in the soup broth.
I'm also not sure what to do with the boiled ingredients. Do I put them back in the stock, or do I throw them away?
This recipe is terrible and the end result simply isn't worth the ingredients wasted. I'm going to look for another one.
