onions took 30-45 to carmelize.
added a teaspoon or two of flour after the wine step.
simmered wine for about 15 min
add more broth next time (did one quart thing this time which was already 1/2 cup more than recipe for 2)
add salt pepper and garlic powder to taste - was really sweet at first, added a bit of salt until it tasted better) after broth boils
didn't use chives
use less thyme did 1 teaspoon
add cheese and then add the baguette and then cheese (bread pretty soggy)
put in longer for better cheese crisp.
toasted baguette in toaster with a little olive oil before putting in soup - next time more crisp or croutons maybe
