I’m not big on this stuff but I made this for a large group and everyone loved it and took home every last pepper. I used a jar of marinara and stirred it into the sausage instead of the tomatoes, and I also put a jar in the bottom of the pan as the recipe said. It was very much like pizza in a bell pepper, and a good option for men who just came home from the gym. I also brushed my peppers in olive oil and put salt and pepper before stuffing. It’s a great group recipe when you decide it’s time to stop eating pizza rolls and bagel bites and eat something healthy!
