Add 1 tsp clove, additional 1/2 tsp nutmeg and an additional 1/2 tsp ginger. For a deep dish pie, you need 1.5 filling. Crust doesn't need pre-baked. Use egg wash on pie crust edges and keep covered until the last 10 minutes of baking.
