Winner, winner, waffle dinner (well, dessert)!
I was in a hurry, so I followed the suggestion of a previous poster and just used the whole eggs without separating them. The waffle dough was super goopy, so didn't know what to expect - but wow! The result was an awesome crisp and fluffy waffle and so, so many of them. I'm really impressed and this one's going to be my go-to. 👌
