TL;DR: Blah fresh, tasty after cooling in the refrigerator.
This was unfortunately bland; the sauce itself was fine, a basic marinara sauce essentially unaltered, but the flavor did not impregnate the chickpeas, which tasted like unspiced canned chickpeas. If I were to try this again, I would roast the chickpeas with salt, pepper, Italian herbs, etc. and make the sauce separately.
EDIT: This is actually REALLY yummy after several hours in the fridge, eaten cold! I actually might make it again to eat cold over quinoa or a salad.
