I used sourdough bread from the bakery and sliced it about about 3/4” thick. Didn’t need as much onion as the recipe called for. Next time I’ll probably put the onions between the bread and the cheese. Putting it in the middle made it slippery. Even so, these sandwiches were ah-maz-ing!
