I think you may find a similar issue with many dishes that some use as a side dish and others as essentially the whole meal. As written this provides the protein, fiber, minerals and calories for a full vegetarian meal, although a somewhat smaller portion would still work. But if it's not your major protein source, it's probably much too much.
