Had to use Heck Italian chicken sausages. It tasted lovely despite a small accident with the ground pepper.
I added onions which I lightly fried off. I also had to play around with the herbs as didn't have the exact spices/herbs. That said it was very close to the recipe.
May try with a tomato sauce too as did find it quite dry. My husband and son enjoyed it too.
