Really good recipe although I used my own cooking method as the instructions did not make much sense.
Peel, dice potatoes then boil for 7 - 10 mins
Fry sausage (I also added bacon ) till golden.
Make sauce from scratch, saucepan (low heat) mix butter flour then add milk until smooth then add seasoning and some of the cheese ( i added a tablespoon of cream cheese, garlic granules, extra paprika and some Tumeric for colour.
Mix everything together and cook in the oven for 35-45 minutes.
One thing I would probably recommend which I did not do is to cover the casserole dish with some foil to prevent burning the potatoes and meat around the edges.
But the recipe was Great! 7 out of 10 for me
