I was actually surprised how subtle the sweet chili garlic sauce was after marinating for 8hrs. I was scared that it would be too sweet actually, but it wasn't so that was a good thing. However, it was a bit underwhelming... I agree with other reviewers that it needs some additional spices and probably more garlic. That's not in the recipe though which is why I gave this a thumbs down :/
