It was easy to make and came out perfect. The crust is hard (in the perfect way) but the bread is moist and holds together well enough. It is just the right amount of sweetness from the apples and powdered sugar on top. I can't imagine adding whipped cream or ice cream as the recipe suggests - it was perfectly balanced as it was.
