Wonderful moist & delicious cake with beautiful deep red color & great spring!
Ingredients of note I used:
Swans Cake flour - grocery store
AmeriColor Soft Gel Paste Food Color (4.5oz bottle) - Amazon
Guittard Cocoa Rouge Cocoa Powder - Amazon
I substituted cake flour (remember to add 2 TBSP per 1 cup when doing this, 1 cup APF = 1 cup + 2 TBSP CF).
I used 3 TBSP of cocoa powder (1 extra, would use up to 4 TBSP).
When using this food coloring gel, it's like a concentrate, I only needed about a 1/4oz per cake.
