Best simple, basic apple pie filling I’ve ever made. I used about 2/3 honey crisp, 1/3 Paula red, both cut into chunks. The Paula red is sweet, so cut white sugar to 1/4 cup. Mixed up the flour, sugar and spices, tossed the apples w/lemon juice, then the seasoning mix and let them set while I rolled out the crust. (Didn’t make the streusel topping, did a double crust pie).
