I've been holding onto this recipe for a long time and finally made it. I'm watching my calories so I adjusted these by using peanut butter powder instead of real peanut butter. They definitely will be better with real peanut butter, but at 1/3 of the calories each (~25 each bite instead of ~75), I'll keep them like this. I added about 1 tsp of cinnamon and next time I make them I'll probably sub the syrup with honey. As usual, I'd say these are on the border between good and just okay, but they work for satisfying a craving. I think I'll like them butter with the honey.
