There are some great maple syrup substitutes available now. If you live in Canada you can get Steeves sugar free maple syrup, it's affordable and delicious. In Canada and the US you can get Walden Farms maple walnut syrup which is also delicious but less affordable. There are other brands but those above are my favourites.
