Wow! Awesome recipe! I expanded a bit and tried green beans ( my favorite!), then opened some corn, carrots... Then fell down a rabbit hole. I had some canned tuna and chicken in the cupboard - dang near opened a can of cat food by mistake! Wish you could have given some spice recommendations for your recipe. I used a lot of salt, black pepper, and garlic. Still a little bland. I am thinking maybe next time I will try heating them up. ( Using the directions on the cans) to see if that helps a little. Ugh! Didn't have a spoon - just a plastic spork, with one tine missing. Close enough?

:) I happen to like taco seasoning on them. There are various brands but all seem to have approximately the same mix of a variety of spices (including garlic). And, I still augment with extra salt. :)

Rofl! Pantry dump recipes: it’s a slippery slope my friend. Everything from proteins, sauce, veg, all the way to noodles and beyond, nearly every food group has a shelf-stable representative. I’ve been down that rabbit hole a time or two.
