This pie was amazing. So much flavor! I used 2/3 cup corn syrup and 1/3 cup molasses instead of the dark syrup. Also used maple whiskey instead of the bourbon. I am allergic to pecans so I used a pretzel topping (for 2 pies, 3 cups crushed pretzels, 4 tbsp melted butter, 2 tbsp sugar. Mix together, pour filling first and then top with pretzel mixture evenly) and it turned out divine.
