We changed the recipe a little bit, but I think it improved it (for us). We used extra garlic and cut out the onion and chives because my husband hates onions. We added two pieces of cod prepared in the microwave with olive oil and salt, we made the pieces small. We prepared about seven or eight more pieces of the bacon, we cut it before cooking it for putting it on top of the chowder. The chowder was delicious that way, we both loved it! My husband suggested that next time we add quite a bit more clam and more cod. Overall I was thrilled with the dish. We will make this over and over again!!
