Didn’t taste very reuben-like, but still pretty tasty.
The tempeh was very spicy. I’d probably cut 1/4 or 1/2 tsp off of many of the spices. Probably also use 2 cups of veggie stock for boiling, as my tempeh didn’t submerge totally in the 3q saucepan. (Perhaps I sliced my tempeh too thinly, as they were sliced at like 1-3 mm.)
Russian dressing isn’t really my thing normally, so I made a small portion for one sandwich. The other 2 sandwiches without the Russian dressing were better.
If you skip the russian dressing, this would become an easy recipe.
