The nutmeg is key, without the nutmeg it tasted like split pea soup (which is not bad, but wasn't what I was going for). I also added a bit of melted earth balance and some garlic salt. Once I added those it was tasty. I like that I'm getting protein in the sauce. It makes a warm "comfort food" type meal. The sauce recipe makes a lot. I think I would cut in half next time.
