Okay this was actually really simple, and it turned out really well, and I'll definitely make this again!
Edit: I made this again and did a better job following the recipe. I excluded the sechuan peppercorns because I was cooking for some friends who never had them, and I am definitely not confident enough to make a first impression. Anyway, my friends *loved* them!! I sent some home with them and one said she ate them for breakfast the next day.
I think that next time, for my husband's and my taste, I'll absolutely add the sechuan peppercorns and decrease the sugar by 1/3rd (I forgot I did this the first time).
Again, this recipe is awesome!
