I made this with pork loin chops marinated in onion soup mix and oil, instead of chicken. I used a whole head of minced garlic, just a touch of sugar, and deglazed with beef broth to make the onions. Topped with parmesan, swiss, and gruyere. Didn't let off a ton of juice, but enough that the chops were moist. Served with roasted spaghetti squash.
