I decided to add some broccoli and it was fantastic. I blanched the butsan in hot water that made the flavours easier to take on. Lovely and filling. But could use a side dish. Was quick and easy too.

In Korea, a meal is generally a bowl of rice and several shared side dishes, rather than a main dish as we do in western coutries. This would be one of those "banchan" or side dishes.
