Since there are no instructions I use a rule of thumb to cook it. Stirred fried the onion till soft, added the pepper, 3/4 minutes after the carrots. Once it was well mixed, I added the potatoes and mixed for another 3/4 minutes. Pour a litre of vegetables stock and added the lentils. Once these were cooking for like 10 minutes, I added the pepper and the parsley to taste. All-in-all, I used 2 table spoons of olive oil, no butter.
In addition to the ingredients, a 1/2 teaspoon of spicy smoked paprika gave it a nice hint. Total prep time 13 minutes. Cooking time 35 minutes. Stirred ie occasionally to avoid it burning/sticking to the pot.
