This recipe was kind of a nightmare for me:( when I added the lemon juice and limoncello to the mascarpone, it completely separated and I had to heat it up using double boiler to make it smooth again. Then when I tried it the next morning after it sat all night in the fridge, The mascarpone was hard as a rock and was not a creamy silky tiramisu that you’re used to. Not sure what I did wrong here.

My mascarpone separated as well, after soon research it seems that we may have overmixed. The recipe says hand mixer but I think something got lost in translation and he meant mix by hand. I just made my second batch and my filling is super smooth! I didn’t even have to mix much at all.
