Instructions
Step 1
In a bowl, mix your mascarpone cheese and icing sugar with a hand mixer for a couple of minutes.
Step 2
Incorporate your heavy cream (cold from the fridge) little by little,
Step 3
Add the juice and zest of one lemon, 10ml limoncello (or lemon juice) and mix until smooth.
Step 4
In a small saucepan, add caster sugar, water and the zest of one lemon, mix and bring to a boil.
Step 5
Turn the heat off and let the liquid cool down then pour it into a bowl, adding 20ml limoncello (or lemon juice).
Step 6
Dip your ladyfingers in for a couple of seconds each side.
Step 7
Layer your soaked biscuits in a dish, spread some of your cream on top and repeat.
Step 8
Let your lemon tiramisù rest in the fridge for a couple of hours or even better overnight and decorate with some lemon slices on top.
