← Replies in Instant Pot Chicken Tikka Masala Recipe

I've used this recipe as a general guideline for my instant pot chicken Tikka masala for a while now, mostly for the ingredients list, but after a little bit of personal tinkering with the spice amounts and cook time to reach the thickness I like, i love this dish and it's super easy to make. Definitely a recipe i don't follow to the T, but always go back to and recommend to others.

How do you adjust the spice amount and make it thicker?

To adjust the spice amount, I near triple the recipe's suggestion to match my own taste. I like a lot of spice and heat in my Indian dishes. To thicken it, I let it simmer for longer. I eyeball most of this, I don't have any exact times or measurements. It's all just the fun of experimentation. :)
