If I had just made my own satay sauce, and used these ingredients it would have been much better. There was wayyyy too much lime in this, and not enough sweetness. I used sambal olek when it called for "chili garlic sauce" but perhaps it meant for me to use sweet chili sauce? Regardless ended up adding a lot of honey and still did not taste the peanut much. Probably would have just kept the noodles raw as well. Also substituted red bell pepper for the tomato as that seemed a better fit for this type of cuisine. Will use the idea behind this recipe, but not the recipe itself again.
