This was my best apple pie I’ve ever made! I also made it with the pie crust (will attach). The egg wash is brilliant - really helps brown the top. I also add turbinado sugar on top because I like a little extra crunch. I didn’t quite seal the top and bottom crusts well enough and some of the liquid escaped, but it’s so tasty that I didn’t mind. Definitely bake on a baking sheet to minimize mess. Great flavor!
