First time making chicken and dumplings without milk or cream and I must admit it was really good! My family ate it up with crackers crushed on top.
I prefer homemade biscuits, but shortcutting with canned biscuits made the recipe a breeze. Used a whole 16 oz can to have more biscuits. Also used fresh mirepoix and whole carton of broth (4 cups). Manual pressure for 10 minutes and natural release for about 10 minutes. The potatoes melted into the broth and made it creamy. Definitely adding this recipe into rotation, especially through the cooler months! Next time I will add more chicken.
