I didn't have all the recommended spices, so I used 2 teaspoons of cajun seasoning in lieu, and it was entirely too hot with the Sriracha lol. I added mild beef link sausage cut up to make it a main dish instead of side.
Also, it called for entirely too much cream. It was extremely wet, so I added about a teaspoon of flour to thicken it up as well as put a damper on the spice level. Besides being too spicy, it did have a nice flavor and the consistency of a thick potato soup after it was done.
With some alterations, this would be a good dish.
