We've been using this recipe for a while now and it is pretty fail-proof. We hand mix everything so it is a one-bowl dish which means easy clean-up. Have made this with black beans and with white beans; mixed in shredded cheese, nutritional yeast, added different seasonings. Tonight we didn't have maple syrup on hand so subbed molasses and honey - came out great. I usually add a little extra of the wet ingredients and find that helps keep them from being too crumbly. A great, easy base bean burger recipe.
