Easy & succulent.
Sometimes I replace all of the marinade spices with NY Shuk shawarma blend (1/4 cup per 2 lbs. boneless chicken), adding to the garlic, lemon juice & oil (also add 2 tsp ground cardamom). I try to limit marinade time to 3-4 hours so chicken thighs don’t become rubbery.
Kababs in turkey air fryer: cut each pound of thighs into 12 -18 even pieces, cut 1 large onion into 4 wedges, then cut each wedge in half crosswise.
Thread onto skewers, alternating chicken & onion, starting & ending with onion (3 skewers per pound), cook 35-40 min.
