Adapted recipe for two in a Dutch oven: use 1 lb stew meat, brown in 2-3 tbsp oil on high heat, add half a chopped onion, add 1-1.5 cups water (deglaze), add garlic powder or garlic, add I pack lipton beefy onion soup mix, a few dashes each of soy sauce and Worcestershire, bring to boil then turn heat to low and simmer covered for 2-3 hours. Serve with mashed potatoes.
