This was delicious but the pine nuts were a little overpowering. We have never had pine nuts before so it may just be overpowering because it is a new flavor to my family.

Some people have a reaction to pine nuts called pine mouth. It's a metallic, bitter or soapy taste that lasts for a while. Most people don't find that pine nuts have much of a strong flavor otherwise.
