I made mine differently than instructed to here. First I used my rice cooker and used brown rice. I added the chicken stock. I strongly recommend chicken stock instead of chicken broth because it has a deeper flavor. And then I put in my chopped onions and my mushrooms on top and turned on the rice cooker. I love how it turned out because the grain was perfectly cooked and the flavors were subtle and pleasing. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys eating mushrooms.
