I was very excited for this based on the picture, but what I got was not really soup shape. I used home cooked dry chickpeas, maybe that's why. The taste was mild but nice. I enjoyed it, but I'd probably not make it again.

Did you soak the chick peas 1st? They will soak up any liquid you give them if dried. Might be what happened there.

Didn't soak them, just cooked them in an instant pot. Maybe that was too much cooking for this recipe.
