So moist and flavorful!
I added cinnamon, made a homemade German chocolate frosting, used carob in lieu of cocoa powder, half sunflower oil half applesauce in lieu of butter, and used brown sugar. The depth of flavor was decadent and definitely fulfilled the chocolate craving my partner had. This cake would do well with flax eggs over chicken eggs if a vegan cake is the goal!
