For me, this recipe was okay. My husband loved it as he's a huge fan of teriyaki. My daughter tried a bit and opted for plain meatballs. The meatballs don't have a lot of flavor without the teriyaki sauce. I simmered the sauce for about 10 minutes to reduce it and concentrate the flavors. It turned out beautifully shiny and glazed the meatballs well.
Next time I will try the sauce with pineapple bits.
