Made this with beef exactly as directed and it was awesome. Cheap, easy, and delicious.
Made it with diced chicken and it's great that way too!
I doubled the soy sauce mixture for the chicken version because I wished I'd had more liquid the first time I made it.
Edit: 4 years later. I don't really care for beef much so I sub Ground chicken and add in frozen vegetables so I feel like I'm being healthy. Makes enough for me to take to work all week for lunch.
I still double the sauce, but I probably shouldn't because it's still very flavorful. Doubling means I eat way more sodium than I need to. My southern brain is just conditioned to think everything needs some kind of "gravy". Lol
