I kept gluten in so used regular flour and cornflour instead of tapioca starch. The base was a little too thick for my liking, so I would probably only make between half and two thirds quantity of that part of the recipe if I made it again, but my god was the top delicious! I was skeptical not having done much vegan cooking before but it was lovely and sticky in the corners and v. tasty. Good reviews from all who helped me consume the very generous amount of food this recipe produced.
