I added the vegetables with the chicken. I placed the onions at the bottom and then placed the chicken on top) on top of the chicken I added the celery, carrots, both cans of cream of chicken coup and 2 cups of broth. I mixed it just a little and then I added mexican oregano. But I crushed the oregano between my hands to make it just a little finer. I didn't have fresh thyme so I just sprinkled some thyme. Then I added the Bay leave, cover it and cooked on high for 3 hours. After an hour or so I added the garlic. Once the 3 hours were up I took out the chicken and let it rest for 5min before I shredded. Once shredded I put it back in the crock pot and added the biscuits. I cooked it for 2hrs stirring every 30min. It came out great. Will definitely make again. Easy and family loved it.
