It did not work out for me that well. I had to substitute rice flour by corn starch because I didn't have any rice flour. The final result was more like potato waffles than like a meatballs. They definitely held nicely in the oven, that was not an issue at all. They didn't brown much. There was fat missing from them, they were quite dry. I also found the instructions were not detailed enough to my taste.
I ate the final dish (and will be eating the lunch boxes it made as well), and it was ok, just a bit disappointing.
I have been looking for a definitive vegan meatball recipe, but I'm afraid this was not it for me.
