I used sprouted spelt flour and followed the recipe exactly (if the aforementioned ingredient counts). I got 3 Belgian style waffles out of this recipe. They're admittedly a little bland, but my 2-year-old liked them. (My 5-year-old didn't like them as much; he ate a few bites out of one section and told me "I'm full" as he handed the rest of it back to me.) She ate about 3 sections and told me "Da's yummy Mommy, thank you!" I don't taste the spinach at all, so it's a great way to get some greens! For a baby who is just starting with solids it's great because there's no added sugar! And the whole family can eat them, and add some maple syrup or honey or butter to their liking. It's a great recipe, in my opinion.
