Totally adapted to what I had on hand (basically broccoli and the sauce was from the recipe, everything else was "what we have without going to the store".
Prepped broccoli, adding carrot shreds the last 3 min of steaming. Made sauce as directed. Used the last half of par-boiled Jasmine & Wild rice as well as a can of cannoneli beans (heated in microwave while sauce cooked).
Placed rice and beans in a bowl, added broccoli and carrots over that, then added sauce to the top.
Super filling. Would make it again with "fridge dump" as well as with the chicken.
