Overall good. Next time we will use 1/2 the sugar and use dark brown sugar. Probably reduce the soy sauce a bit. We omitted the additional salt, did not feel needed. I personally prefer to coat my tofu in potato starch and shallow fry, but the air fryer tofu was pretty good. Cook in batches as needed! We paired with spicy green beans and mushrooms.

Why brown sugar vs other sugar? Just to give more of a browning to reduce the soy sauce? Trying to reduce sodium here! 😎

Brown or dark brown sugar just has a richer flavor, so I am happy to use less of it and get a similar result. This one is property high sodium and I don't think there's a ton that can be done to change that. :/
