turned out crisp on top fluffy with a chew on the inside! you cant really tell the difference.
i perfer my scones like rockcake looking so thats why they dont looks 'perfect' but they taste great!
i used pea milk in mine, sproud barista milk its creamier but also gives a protien and fiber shot. i might play around with different flours as theres so many out there. i used dove farm self raising.
